Safeguarding

Our safeguarding policies are reviewed and updated annually by our Board of Trustees and staff and volunteers receive regular training.

All staff and volunteers are subject to Disclosure & Barring Service checks before working with children, young people and vulnerable adults.

Safeguarding Policies

It is every adult's right to live in safety and to be free of abuse. YFM is committed to practice which protests vulnerable adults from harm. As a service we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity to all members of our community.
YFM is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In order to fulfil this responsibility effectively, we make sure our approach is child centred. This means we consider, at all times, what is in the best interests of the child.
